What a waste of cash. It fails to pick up anything at all. Naturally, they don’t mention that they only verify against publicly available sources beforehand. And forget about getting a refund for their lack of service.

This is one of the most disappointing plagiarism checkers I've come across. To start, it's super pricey. They claim it's free, but when you actually give it a go, it reveals nothing. On top of that, it even marks references as copied content. How does that even make sense?

Steer clear! Their system is unreliable and fails to spot similarities. Plus, the customer support was pretty rude when I brought it up.

A few things to mention. First off, with a Personal account, you can't do those Side-by-Side comparisons. That's cool, I guess. But when I really dug into the report, I found it missed over half of the stuff that was copied straight from various business news sites. I mean, when I pasted the text into Google, it popped up the page right away. So, I reached out to customer support, and they told me: "Our system relies on Bing, and some texts are only indexed by Google." Alright then. That pretty much sums it up.

When I inquired about getting my money back, they said: "Our service is non-refundable. It’s in our customer agreement, which you had the chance to read and accepted when signing up."

Looks like I overlooked their dependence on Bing.

UPDATE: After waving goodbye to my $10, I ran the same document through Scribbr. Sure, it set me back $20, which is why I initially chose Unicheck. But let me tell you, you really do get what you pay for. Scribbr caught at least double the amount of copied content from websites. Plus, I went with them because, unlike Unicheck, they offer a 100% Happiness Refund guarantee. So, there you have it. Good luck!

STAY AWAY FROM UNICHECK, IT'S A COMPLETE SCAM! Seriously, don't waste your time with this.

This plagiarism detection tool isn't cutting it for me. I mean, how can it give my paper a 1% similarity score, but then my school runs it through Turnitin and it pops up with a 35% similarity based on online sources? Unicheck really needs to step up its game.

Hey there, this service could be pretty solid, assuming all your references come from the web. Since you can't test it out before dropping cash, you'll end up spending some to see if it suits your needs.
For me, it messed up a basic McLuhan citation and didn’t catch any in-text references from books in the Chicago Full-Note style. It even flagged the title of an in-text citation as potential plagiarism.
The issue is, with a limited number of expensive attempts, the burden of figuring out how to get a decent outcome shouldn’t fall on the user! Especially with plagiarism checks, you’d expect the tool to err on the side of caution, but by ignoring any book published before 2010, that feels like a major gamble.
Honestly, it feels like you’re shelling out for a very basic service, just a feel-good purchase.
While the support team was quick and friendly, it seems that not offering refunds is part of their business strategy.
I’m really curious why this software has so many positive reviews here.

Edit: I just checked out more reviews, and I can't quite figure it out, but most of them are short comments from May 20th to 30th, 2020. That’s a bit strange and might be something for Trustpilot to investigate.

The lines are way too lengthy for a service you pay for, sometimes stretching to an hour, which is just terrible when you compare it to other paid options and even some free plagiarism checkers. Plus, they only take PayPal and don’t allow direct credit card transactions. On the bright side, their support team is quick and really helpful.
